The Hamilton Frogman has been my desired gen for months. The price tag was getting close to $800 and so it seemed affordable. Then came the Bing 50% promotion on top of Ashford's discount. I had to pull the trigger!
There are eight models of the Hamilton Navy Frogman. You'll find different movements, straps and features such as a cyclops. I chose the H77746133 for its Valjoux movement, brushed titanium case and very comfortable rubber strap with a brushed buckle that has a double tang. Other specs include 200M water resistance, sapphire glass front and back, 22mm strap and 43mm case.
We'll start with a wrist shot. Notice the one arc subdial (hours):
A dial closeup:
The crown guards:
The cool part is the captive o-rings; hard to see here:
The tricky pushers, since I wondered now I'd operate the chronos with just one:
The exhibition caseback to see the Valjoux 7750:
And finally, my lame attempt at the Art Shot, having no props at all:
The bandwidth alarm has probably gone off. I love this watch, but will sign off now. Thanks for looking.
