Time is of the essence! In just 2 days (you the man Josh!) the watch has already arrived in the German DHL logistics center and will most definitely be here within a few days.

It's coming with the rubber strap, which is OK but nothing to boast about, so I'll be ordering a nice strap. Was thinking about a decent black strap with white stitches for a good price..

However, I do not know the sizes of the watch (22/22, 24/22, etc...?), so someone in-the-know, please halp :)

You can also go crazy with suggestions for dealers or what particular strap to buy for that watch, also post pics if you got any and so on.

Thanks

Well, the lug end of the strap is 24mm. I believe the rubber straps are 24/22, so if you want to re-use the rep buckle, you'll need to get a 24/22 strap. Since you're in Germany and in a hurry, http://www.waccex.de might be your best shot. Go with the vertigo series, they are reportedly much nicer quality than the other Panerai style straps he sells.

Black shark might look good....

I'm an idiot. Forgot to mention the rubber strap has a deployant buckle :( Besides, 24/22 vertigos are sold out on that page.

Btw, I'm not from Germany, but it's close enough :) A bit to the south.

It arrived in no more than 3 days. Wow.

Thanks guys, bookmarked the sites. For whatever reason, waccex almost no straps for deployants, so I might have to settle on the oh-so-common black with white stitches.

Or maybe keep the rubber strap, it's actually better than I thought it would be.

Two more questions though:

- where the hell is the adjustment lever on the asian 7750 28.800 bph?
- the lever on the crown guard keeps falling out, is that because the crown is too thin or is the lever not shaped properly?

- I've seen Josh advertise a new watch with a movement described as: Asia 7750 Valjoux Working Chronograph movement, Working regulator, 28800bph It at least suggests that the working regulator is something new! I hope for you that one of our movement experts can tell you more.

- Obviously the combination is a little off. The solution seems to be to remove the CG and carefully sand it down a little. There is a thread about it somewhere, but I could not find it.

Mabey Don can help you there (will take a little longer because he is in Canada). Last shipment from him reached me in the Netherlands in 4-5 days, so that's not too bad.

This is his collection of deployant straps:
