Hi,
I've been lurking here for awhile, getting ready to get my feet wet. After getting taken for $300 or so off of a scam site (so much for my college degree), I decided there must be a better way -- and alas, there is!
I can see the passion you all have for these watches and not being in a position to drop $8k on the PAM I want, I'm ready to put one on my wrist anyway.
But first I have a question. A friend of mine is interested in an old Rolex and she loves the one in the attached photo, and I'm wondering if a new rep can be "antiqued" (in the guitar world they would call it a relic) to look like an old watch -- for example, this oyster:

I've read about someone named PBdad who does mods but I'm not sure if this is the kind of thing he would do. Nor have I been able to figure out how to contact him.
Ok, thanks very much in advance -- any help would be much appreciated.
