Half Links on Cartier Calibre

I removed one link on my JF Cartier Calibre with a stainless steel bracelet, and it fits relatively well on my around 6.5 inch wrist. I got my dad one as well, but he has even a smaller wrist than me. Probably closer to around 6 inches.

Removing one link might make the bracelet too loose, but removing two links might make it too tight.

I have read that this watch has half links, but I really don't know what that means. All the links seem the same size to me, and they are all relatively big. Does this watch have different size links, and how would I go about resizing it? Thanks!

The Calibre bracelet, including the Divers version on a bracelet, is very hard to find a good fit. There are some manufacturers that don't include a half link in their version of the Calibre. The newer so-called Miyota movement Diver versions have the 1/2 link. Perhaps look on the web site of your favorite trusted ad and see if any other models of the Calibre have a half link and see if you can purchase the part or parts (for your Dad). The other watch sold with no half link is the AP ROO and it is needed - oem and rep. AP sells the half link as an aftermarket request through their dealers.
