Hey you guys so I was browsing my CL at work today because sometimes there are steals. This posting:
http://lexington.craigslist.org/jwl/925058944.html

They guy is selling a watch for 750 that he bought for 1000! He doesnt even list what kind of watch it is just that its a swiss replica that he references a website that is a scam website. My question is would you all just try to tag it or shoot him an email. Hell I just dont want someone to email him and actually pay this. 750 for that POS, what would you all do?

Shoot him an email. If hes listing it as a rep he may not even know he got scammed. Educate him, send him our way so he can learn more.

Then flag it. No sense letting some else get burned.

See I dont even think he does because he is just listing it as a Rolex doesnt even list the model which makes me think he probably doesnt know it. He is selling a man and womans watch, each for 750, ouch. I will shoot him an email. I was just thinking it would suck for someone to buy this and two people get burned

There are people listing crap on CL here in Dallas all the time.
Usually people are wising up to it and the next time I look, it says it has been flagged.

I know where you're comin from C. And I know people never want to hear this. But the only person who generally falls prey to these kinds of things are dishonest people who are trying to get something for nothing. In their minds THEY have targeted a sucker seller. That's about 99% of them. The other 1% are so stupid that you cannot help them, just delay the inevitable. So there's really nothing to be concerned over.

just flag it as prohibited. I just did. Selling items that violate IP Laws are likely against Craiglist's Acceptable Use Policy.
