I contacted Gruf on the 17th. It was quite late, as I remember it being dark out. Guess the carrier pigeon got lost or murdered by a feisty young sparrowhawk because it took Gruf until the 18th to reply. Admittedly, it was around 1am the next day, but still. I mean, I was asleep, he could have woken me.
Anyway. He replied with his payment details, how audacious of him. Then he had the gall to let me know the funds had been received and if I gave him my address he'd post the watch that same day. Firstly, how dare he tell me he's received the funds? That's the sender's job. Is he implying I am incapable or lazy? Secondly, was he never taught never to talk to strangers as a kid? What makes him think I'm going to give him my address after a couple of words of communication, in text form no less? Admittedly, it would make it difficult for him to send the watch to me, but...
And the nail in the coffin? I received the watch at exactly three minutes past eleven. I distinctly remember the time as the time on my phone read 11:03. Oh, and the watch was flawless, exactly as he'd described.
All in all, I can't thank him enough for making my first replica purchase such a smooth one. More than happy to vouch for him if anyone's thinking of doing business with him in the future. Cheers, buddy. @Gruf
