With the 39% off coupon from TC a custom MP strap and a Greg strap are very close in price. I'm pretty conservative so for a black strap with black stitch is there a consenus on which strap is better? Thanks.

If you're after a top quality hand-made (by himself!) thick vintage looking straps, Greg's Crazy Horse is hard to beat, even by MP or MF IMO...

Not sure if you noticed, his straps are actually 24mm at lug side, expanding to 24.5mm along the length of the strap...quite a nice feature, giveing the strap that extra visual thickness/wideness. The strap loop at the buckle is super wide as well, making the use of a second loop found on other "standard" straps, unnecessary. Large round buckle pin-holes just add to overal beffy look.

BTW, not associated with the dealer by any means...just expressing my own view, afterall that's what these forums are for, no ?!

Agree, only downer is that he's raising his prices very fast!! From 50$ to 75$ to 99$ to 125$ and 150$ in a bit more than a year!!! Oh....and something else...don't mention replicas when ordering A great friendly guy all around though.....
