Hello everyone ... want to take a moment here between New Year's day football watching to say helo and greet everyone Happy New Year 2008! My sincere wishes for a healthy and prosperous 2008. I am reatively new to this "replica watch collection" hobby. I am too sad i never realized there was such an active internet community of people that have an interest to acquire and own luxury watches but do not necessarily want to spend the hard money for them.

By me discovering this "hobby" I can now have close to perfect replicas of the genuiune luxury watches I desire at tremendous savings and expense. Here is watch I am looking for in the upcoming days and weeks:

Montblanc Timewalker
Jaegar Le Coultre ... master control or master calendar
Rolex Submariner (green bezel) ever popular and sought out
Hublot Big Band
Cartier Santos 100
Tag Heuer Monacao ... to go with Ford's new mustang
I search for a big watch with girth and weight as I am a big individual and a watch <13mm thick gets lost on my wrist and hand. Here's the dimensions I look for face = 42mm + and thickness 13-14 mm +.

Any other suggestions -- oh so many and so many! I only wish to have found out about this hobby long before.

I currently own the following genuine watches:

Tag Heuer's 400 Professional dive watch (obtained at Barthelmew's Jeweler's NYC 1993) I was working and living in NYC at the time.
Tourneau Dual Time white face gold with black alligator strap (Tourneu Store on 34th and 7th ave NYC ... 1st "real" watch to go with 1st career job in NYC 1988)
Sieko Day Date 21 jewels gold plated circa 1967 from my father who passed on in 1984 ... completely serviced and fully functioning again.

Hope to hear from any one on suggestions.

Best for now ...

Sounds like you are going to fit right in. What part of Ohio are you from? I'm not that far from a major city in northern Ohio.

Welcome and enjoy your stay. :D

Welcome, donnay. I spent nearly a year in Dublin, OH for work. I miss the good beer and the chips at The Brazenhead.

Try a Panerai on for size, they are plenty big for you. There's an AD over on Sawmill Rd (I can't remember the name right off the top of my head, though) if you want to take a peek at some gen Panerais (they also carry Rolex, Breitling, Omega, etc).

Good luck and welcome to the madness!

Dublin, Oh is nice but litle pricey for my tastes for residence and taxes. though i will ever push away from a home at Corazon or Tartan Fields. i like a good meal and pint at Rusty Bucket and then a cigar or two with the boys at stogies and sticks. 8) 8) where you now? did you do contact work in dublin or the area?

Go Bucks and Giants!! 8) 8)

Can't see how I missed an Ohioan in these forums...

Welcome mate from the *Deep South* of Cincinnati!

Always nice to see that someone within 100miles of me shares the same passions. :D

Nice wish list... classics all around.

And to second the suggestion... the Pams may fit the bill for you.. the 47mm's are amazing.

Hi guys! Lancaster here! Just got introduced to this awesome universe last week.. I think my wife is going to shoot me already. I spend WAAAAAAAy too much time online looking at everything there is to be looked at. I think my first rep will be a BR 03-92 from AJoe. Kinda wish I knew about this world prior to purchasing my two gens...a Cartier Roadster and my newest, a Pam 088. I'll probably never wear that Roadster again!!

i think a GTG would be fun sometime. Pick a day and time and hopefully I won't be flying!

Take care!!!
