Hello all,

I'm relatively new to this board and whole rep thing. I've been mostly lurking around reading the plethora of information in these pages... have made a few posts (mostly newb-ish questions that will hopefully evolve). Having a blast so far. So glad I stumbled upon this community... saved me from ordering from some sub-standard sites. Instead, found some excellent watches from some great dealers.

I started about a month ago with a Pam222 (added a beautiful chunky tan strap from Don), then got a Tag Carrera (black face/red hands), and waiting for the famous new EL IWC Pilot to arrive any day now! [smilie=love4.gif] [smilie=occasion14.gif] [smilie=love4.gif] Also have a Santos 100 on the way (thanks in advance to WBK). Thinking about ordering the new Davidsen PAM177h next... I wonder if this iteration will have the crown guard fit the case better?

I love all these watches. I am amazed at the quality of the reps that we have access to. Choosing is, indeed, the hardest part.

I'm finding that it is diffucult to keep restraint in this hobby. I want to assemble a small (6-12) watch collection that I will wear in fairly consistent rotation (as opposed to having 50-100 watches that I only wear 10% of). I just know me and I need to keep this in check... any pointers from the experienced?

Anyway, good to meet you all and look forward to seeing you around.

Cheers,
kidxer

P.S., If you feel like flipping a fledgeling newb some extra RW$ you may have, it would be greatly appreciated... want to enter some of these fantastic draws! (without having to make useless posts...)
