Long story short:
Several months back I've received the amazing custom built 5512 with a help of great forum members @kilowattore and @manodeoro
This build was supplied with a Tissot Powermatic 80 movement from one of my watches. Donor watch was sitting on a shelf for about 3 years and prior to that was purchased second hand, so unlikely that it has ever received a service.
After about 2-4 months of ownership watch has suddenly stopped. I've asked a couple watchsmiths to take a look at it, but everyone was busy, did not want to touch a rep or simply ghosted me.
I've always known that Nikz was considered a "go to" on RWI, but somehow I was always looking for local options only. After a couple messages he has quoted me 15 days to have the watch fixed and a reasonable rate - and watch was on the way. About two weeks after watch got to his shop he has confirmed to me that the watch is fixed and it was just some dirt in the movement, nothing had to be swapped out.
Unfortunately I have completely missed his message asking me to pay for the service - totally my fault, because I've been buying a selling a few watches at the time and it has just slipped. To my surprise, when I have finally made a payment he has immediately sent me a tracking that was already delivered to one of the nearest collection points - Nikz has trusted me with sending the watch before receiving a payment, even though I was unresponsive for a few days!
Regarding the service itsel:
Watch runs perfectly, seems to be well regulated and I am more than satisfied with the service!
TLDR;
Highly recommended to everyone! 10/10
Thank you Nikz, and the next time I need a watch serviced - I'll poke you straight away
