I am still in the process of putting together a good starter collection of quality rep watches. After reviewing this site for about a week rather intensely, I was quite pleased to become a VIP member. It is the only site I thought truly worthy of a contribution. There are some solid members with advanced knowledge who are not to full of themselves to share it.
There also seems to be an unusually non-biased attitude towards the products, dealer pricing and service issues I enjoy a great deal. Most of the better reps seem to run in pockets for a short period of time. Helping everyone chase the best watch runs is the resource I find most appealing. Some guys jump in first and take a chance; others yearn for so much security the great deals disappear. The trick is educating yourself and finding that sweet spot where your risk is low and chances of success high. When everyone is fair and understanding this is a great hobby. I hope to become a contributing member soon.
Well, better get out and continue scouting out that elusive next purchase!
