Great comparison shot of Deep Crystal vs Clean Crystal

I still get lots of people asking about why the real difference is between the crystals.

Here is a comparison shot. Placing the same light source in the center of each crystal you can see there is very minimal glare from the Deep crystal vs Clean.



This is one of the cheapest upgrades that will give your watch a huge step toward gen.

Need to do some comparisons against gens.

I’ve found they are far to “black hole” effect when compared to gens I install. My personal opinion.
I’m assuming that’s from the double AR they have?

This is just showing the difference in Anti-Reflective (AR) coating. They are in the same place to minimize variables. The only difference is lighting position. Better than gen? depends on what you are comparing. For the cost its much cheaper for a very similar product.

Do you mean it's the AR coating that makes the glass better than gen or similar ?

I'd say similar. Hard to beat Gen. For the price being 80% less it's an exceptional value.
