For about 4 days I was in search of the perfect buckle for my DSN 111h. I looked at about a hundred different websites, all offering pretty much the same thing. A pre-v buckle in either polished or brushed. Everything looked the same to me, which was fine, and I almost settled for one.
Then I found this website: http://www.stonecreekstraps.com/

Immediately I like to the look of it because of how thick it was (6mm). So decided, what the hell, I'll pull the trigger, at the cheap price of $9.00 ($15.00 shipped), if I don't like it I'm not out that much money.
I kept close tabs with Jeanna, the owner there at stonecreek, because my buckle was on back order. She was absolutely delightful to deal with! She responded to me EVERY TIME withing a half hour, and was very courteous and polite. She also always kept me updated on everything and really made me feel like I was an important customer, even though I only bought one little thing. She even e-mailed her dealer for me and made sure the buckle was stainless steel for me.
Anyway, the buckle arrived today, and I couldn't be more pleased. I am not a big fan of the really wide buckles, because I wear the watch close to my hand, and the buckle likes to dig into my hand if my wrist is bent. This buckle is not as wide by any means, which I really like. The buckle is, however, SUPER thick, which really makes it stand out on the wrist. I bought the polished steel, which is also available, and it looks amazing with the polished steel of the 111h.
The thing that impresses me the most with this buckle, is the accent line that goes around the top of the buckle. That accent line makes the buckle look like it was born to be worn with any Panerai.
The only downside I can see with this buckle is that it used a spring bar instead of a screw, but again for 9 bucks, I can live with that.
All in all I am very impressed with this buckle, and I think this buckle would be perfect for any Panerai watch.
Now on to the pictures (sorry, I didn't clean the watch before the pictures, so I know there are smudges on it):
Not as wide as the usual Pre-V buckle...
...but its a thick monster!
Some wristies! You can kind of see that accent line I was talking about, it really makes this buckle look good with the PAM.
