Hi all,

Bought this a couple of months back with the Pam 312. Watch arrived with slanted dial. Didnt detect it in the QC pics.

Contacted Amanda for Kuvarsit and provided pics that she asked for. She immediately offered to repair the watch by sending it back to her.

Waited for slightly more than a week for the watch to be received by her. Took another week for her to get the watch back from the factory after sending it for repairs.

Amanda was quick to respond for more QC pics after the repair. However, watch still look slanted.

She then offered to replace the watch but asked if I was ok to wait a couple of weeks as it was out of stock. Of course I was fine with waiting. Patience is the key in this game rite? Haha.

Finally got the watch a few weeks ago.

Amanda never fails to be amazingly helpful. As always, quick responses and entertained all my requests. Definitely my To Go To Dealer!!!

On to the pics.....

this may be a stupid question but do you have pics of slanted dial, im not sure what you mean by slanted (as in not straight or not level?) and wanna know what to look for when purchasing for myself.

Hi Master Ale, honoured to have u commented on my post.

Thank you for ur effort in creating the pamcyclopedia. Wouldn't have make the right choices without it.

My pam388 does seem to be very noisy compared to my other pams. The rotor on my pam388 seems to be very loosely attached. It rotates very freely and causes alot of noise.

Any solution to this problem may I asked?

ufff...
a bit risky for a noob, if you do not have basic watchsmith skills, I won´t try.
You must remove the faux rotor cap, gain acces to the real rotor screw, and try dropping a tiiiiiiiny drop of oil, some people reported that a bit of silicone grease also worked for them.
Although it make reduce the decibeles coming out of your rotor :), silent operation is not assured in many cases.

well on second though, it's not so dangerous. The worst it could happen is to end with a silent hand wind watch :)
