The Grand Carrera Pendulum is basically the GC Calibre 11 with a tourbillon. In the gen, and this is argued, it would keep more accurate time. In a rep, as I suspect is actually true in the gen too, it would be strictly aesthetic. The Calibre 11s are not terribly accurate anyway due to the sweeping second hand. I happen to think the GCP is quite good looking. If you can find a good rep, I say pull the trigger!

Wrong! It is NOT a tourbillon! :lolcina: It has an open heart dial. Wow, don't you guys know how to use google or bing??

Here is a Youtube video: Tag Heuer Pendulum.

As far as the accuracy of the rep, I think its biggest 'tell' is the balance wheel, which can be clearly seen in the open heart and in the see-thru caseback. The gen doesn't use a hairspring. So the gen balance wheel doesn't look anything like the rep.
