Got this pic from MR

So I'm looking for a Pam 250 with an auto movement. I checked with MR and he sent me this and said it has a 7750. He also said he has a 7753? I think it is but didn't provide a pic.

My question is whether or not this watch should have shiny chrono dials like in the pic. I thought the whole face of the watch was matte including the subdials.

Input? Advice?

A plain matte dial ALL OVER....
While the rep has the subdials with concentric circling...
The chance you're taking is that you might actually somehow get into a situation where one of the maybe seven humans(1: 1,000,000,000 possibility) on the planet who actually know the difference, will be able to get close enough to your watch,(1:1000,000 possibility) for long enough, to spot the difference!!
And even then, he probably won't give a $hit!!
So.....If you want it buy it!!!

I'm not really concerned with anyone calling me out or anything.

Anyway, back to the watch. That's just it. I prefer the all over matte dial with matte subdials. The pic of the 7750 MR showed me has shiny subdials. The 7750 on puretime's site looks matte to me.

I asked MR for a pic of the 7753 so i could compare and he sent me two pics of the back of the watch with the back off so I could see the movement. I asked for a pic of the face and he said he didn't have one and that I should look around at other dealer sites to see the face.

This is the sucky part of rep buying. I can't see the watch I want until I pay for it and I don't want to pay for a watch until I see it. This is why I prefer to buy from RWI members.

Anyone have a Pam 250 7753 they want to part with?

I see your predicament. So its your personal preference rather than its accuracy, its a tricky one really, I think you're right to watch the classifieds instead. It's the only way to get your QC pics before spending your money.

This is old stock.if you are buying the last 236/250 from N-factory, it has a proper dial matted all over, the sub dials hands have the center post in silver like the gen, the datewheel is recessed properlyly and the crown guard is actually pretty decent.

From these pictures, you are not buying the best and latest version available.
