I got it the other day and I'm so happy. Live life a little! Wear a pumpkin, I'd say!
Now I can't take it off my wrist. The Breitling has to be in hibernation for a while until I get back my normal strength to my right hand. (I just had carpal tunnel surgery) This pumpkin is far easier for me to take it off or put on since it has that retractable pushers on the clasp for easy release or for snapping.
I like the feel on this bezel, not too hard or too soft but just right with enough resistance and definite click stops that corresponds exactly to the units. It's a pleasure to turn the unidirectional bezel with ease.
Amazingly, this is the most accurate mechanical watch I've ever owned, bar none (whether genuine or rep). Timekeeping is better than my gen Breitlings or my previous gen Rolex TT Blue Sub!!! I'm anal about accuracy as you know. At face up, it only gained 1.5 sec after 24 hrs. (side by side against the atomic clock)! The factory MUST HAVE regulated it before shipment.
Aesthetically for a rep, this watch has the closest resemblance to the genuine. The Omega logo is close to accurate being on the low side but not touching the name. The AR coating is also a plus for this domed shaped sapphire crystal. The sweeping second hand has just the right length of orange tip that reaches and covers the incremental units upon sweeping the dial. It has just the right spacing between "CHRONOMETER" and "600m/2000ft" as per genuine. On the bezel dot where the black triangle is, you could see the ever so minutely thin orange layer that extends towards the tip of the black triangle (a very minute detail so often overlooked). The "SWISS MADE" is exactly placed correctly below the incremental units. The HE crown is spot on. A very nicely made rep of a watch that I can be proud of. The only negative point I can say is the short minute hand, and by that, I mean just a tad by 1 mm. But hey it's just a rep. If you could just overlook this one aspect and focus on all the positive points I've pointed out, you've got one helluva rep at a very decent price! In conclusion, I can only say that you can still wait for another generation, but pulling the trigger now on Andrew's 4th Gen PO is as good enough for me to be a winner!
