Got these two from Angus last week. Very happy and already searching for new straps. I don't particularly like the strap that came with the 372.
I would like to say again that RWI is awesome!! And, special mention for ALE7575 for helping us noobs. Your guide is nothing sort of amazing.
111 and 372 are the most wanted pams
Thanks guys.
thefever, i think i got the updated 372. So far, the 111 is getting more wrist time. The lume is quite a bit better on the 111.
But, some straps are coming in. Maybe I'll wear the 372 more.
And thank you many times over, Ale7575, for making this so much easier for us!
Great pair there!
I feel the lume on the "patina" dial is weaker then the modern dials, which is a shame as I think the patina dials look better and have more character then the modern dials.
I'm new to the Pams, but IMHO the polished case and bezels, sandwich dials, crownguards, classic simplicity, and the fact they are both well reviewed and with GREAT photos, make these two winners. Also Ale's excellent Reference Guide. And the two case styles make an impossible decision, with a lot of folks buying both or swinging over to the 111 due to the 372's decorated mov't and glue issue...(glue, really?)
From my perspective, the order of my purchases will be:
1. Pam 111 Noob V3 Pre-v hands, asian mov't, fixed regulator issue (?)
2. Pam 372 H Cartel (or Noob version with a fix, hopefully...or I'll put on a solid case-back and remove the deco plates and glue)
3. Pam 288k, an awesome chrono, and Radiomir vintage style. Very different.
All very safe purchases for newbies...2 Super-Reps and one could be.
Now, if I can just find a dealer to respond to my emails and inquiries, I'll start buying.
Very nice, just ordered my first 2 pams,183h from angus and a 111 from ryan the 372 is next when my credit card comes round.........
