dude i know! i was so happy to open the box and see a pan.. and this is my first one so i was just amazed at the beauty of this watch, i mean dang!! then i was like wait a minute somethings not right here and yea.. hasnt been the same since lol
it ruined the whole thing for me lol

its a gift bro. sorta rude to ask them to change it for me..
ill gift it to someone else ;)

YOu probably got a destro movement (intended for left handers who wear watches on the right, with crown on the left)

I know. What I was saying is that there are Destro movements with the OFFICINE PANERAI engraved "upside down" because on Destro movements, the entire movement is rotated 180 degrees so that the crown will be on the left. So when they're rotated that way to put the crown on the left, the OFFICINE PANERAI becomes "correct" side up.

Therefore, you did not get the standard movement. You got the Destro movement that is intended to be rotated 180 degrees and intended to have the crown on the left.

if it didnt have a sweeping seconds hand i could have got the dial flipped by a good watch modder. no ?

im gonna put it on sale in a few weeks, maybe someone here could salvage it for parts i guess

Yea too bad mines a gift. Dont know the seller else I would have tried returning it. Oh well it keeps good time and looks pretty hot, until you flip it the other way lol :(
