Hi guys

This is not a WTB thread, but I have tried searching for a XS Diver rubber Strap, as the one I got is worn a bit out, and contacted couple of TDs not with no luck (I will just try my luck on the member sales section).

I know that JF previously produced these, but can it be true that the demand for the XS rubber straps (whether the 20mm or 24mm) is very very limited since no other factories have started to produce these? What are people's alternatives now?

Back in the time, it was like everybody wanted the XS straps from JF (Diver), but nowadays it is like no one wants them - what happens here?

A XS AP Diver rubber strap will be difficult if not impossible for the foreseeable future. I don't know of any custom AP rubber Diver watch strap makers. Unfortunately, for now, you're regulated to the steel bracelet or a custom made leather strap. Best of luck.

The only XS diver straps I’ve seen around in recent years have been gen. I had one myself which came with a franken project I bought, but sold it since it was far too small for me.

For what it’s worth, there are some excellent steel diver bracelets on AliX which you can size however you want. I’ve bought several from various sellers on there so couldn’t make any specific recommendations as I don’t recall which bracelet came from which seller, but they’ve all been of good quality in the ~$50 range.

At this point you’ll either opt for a Gen XS.
Other option to consider is rep standard length and carefully make an extra hole..

Thanks for all the replies.

I am afraid that it is just as I thought that no one seems to have other options other than extra hole in the standard straps or looking for other options than the rubber strap.

Let's cross fingers that a factory will start to produce these in the upcoming future.

Neither thebl gen XS or the rep steel bracelet are easy to find as well. I neither recall that the factories are producing the bracelet ant longer.

ZF made XS rubber strap for 157xx divers, was available as of a few months ago, not sure if available now. Only in black however and the quality i would say is mid range. not as pliable/as dark as the old JF ones,..more grey than black...

on alixpress there are tapered AP straps in different colors that go from 28mm to 20mm that fit the diver that's in the middle of a standard size and XS size. the last tightest hole on the alix strap is equivalent to the 2nd to last tightest hole on the standard XS strap...

for your reference...

alix strap = 71mm + 107mm
std strap = 75mm + 115mm
xs strap = 65mm + 105mm

I am not sure that I 100 % agree on the assumption on that the 20mm straps second tightest hole is equivalent with the tightest hole with the 24mm XS strap, as I have and tried one 20mm strap from Alix and the tightest hole on the 20mm from Alix is still more lose than the second tightest hole on the XS strap. I got 2 straps from from Alix.

Even though the measurements tells that your assumption should be right
