Hi, I hope everyone had a great new year. Was hoping to get some help on purchasing a new high quality screwdriver for loosening and tightening the stem screw on PAM 6497 movements.

Anyone have any recommendations, mine works on most 6497/98 but some have smaller width screws.

Thank you in advance for the help.

A decent Beco set will cost about 60 USD and will serve you for years to come...

Beco or Bergeon is the way to go.
You need some good tools, especially if you work at Chinese movements.

The right size for the stem release screw is 1.20 (red)

I can't tell you what a difference a good set of screw drivers and tweezers will make if you plan on working on watches.

Bergeon and Horotec for screw drivers (there are a lot of good choices but these are the easiest to find.)
Dumont for tweezers

you'll need a 1.0mm or 1.2mm screwdriver for the set lever screw

By the way read something posted by tb on the subject over on RWG and he recommends only Horotec for blades as "Bergeon are crap nowadays". :)
