I am just sharing what happened today... finnaly received my new pam 253. I was so happy, my first buy at this forum. By the way I was wearing pam 177H to work today. Anyway, somehow my pam177H band broke. The screw broke -- it snap, now what i have is broken screw inside the screw hole.   I have no idea what to do except drill the hole to remove the screw piece. Any suggestion from seniors is welcome.
Now with pam 253, the right small dial won't reset back to 30 (middle), top push button stuck sometimes and its hard to press "(I read this is normal with this rep ??)" what make me sad the most is the sapphire crystall (not sure if sapphire or not -Not good enough to tell different -- any advise also welcome, it supposed to be AR coat (light AR coat) I can not see any blue tint what so ever... Is it normal with so call light AR tint ??? any help/advise is welcome..
Basically this is my day today.. just sharing my sadness.. I have contact the dealer and just waiting for his reply, he is a great guy to deal with.. mistake do happen and it could be me who still a noob and don;t know what is and what is not...
I took picture and hope any advise from seniors and member.

The button at the 4 oclock postion is the reset for the chrono. The two oclock one starts and stops it. My 253, the second hand will not go back to 12 and goes to 12;02, which is not making me sad, but it would be nice if we could always get perfect reps delivered to us, and that is not going to happen, but all in all the quality is quite good.

nice pannie Dan!

is there anyone that can reset your dials for you?

I have no advice about the broken screw :( but river does sell springbars for pannies... or check ebay as i've seen some on there too.

also watchout for the asian 7750. i dont know fi there's a way to keep it running smoothly on a daily basis. I read bunch of stuff about it's reliability. Looks great though!

My Pannie was supposed to come with a light AR too, but it's non-existent. I can't do anything about it as its the supplier issue :( fraggin fragglerock! and the light AR on my PO is reallllly light!

After you remove the broken screw piece, use these to fasten your straps to your watch. http://replica-watch.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8104

They are spring bars which will allow you to utilize the stripped out holes. Now you will not need a screwdriver to change your strap.
