Bought this pretty cool looking Done crystal case , going to try and build a Retro Style Sub .
Going to power it with a NH35 Movement.

are you going to build a "Rolex" vintage sub or a homage to it? The case shape is not great, so lots of reshaping will be required if you expect to develop a Rolex vintage sub.

No it’s just going to be a “ Homage “ type of build , there’s no way I have the knowledge to modify the case .
Doing it for fun , it’s going to be my daily beater

Either way, this hobby is fun to enjoy but try not to spend too much money on it tho, otherwise, you will be like the rest of us.... down the rabbit hole. LOL. Enjoy!!!

Plus if you have not bought the NH35 yet, consider a NH38 instead.

Your dial has no date, the NH38 has no date. This will avoid the ghost date crown position.

Just installed both the Hour and Minute hands , but butchered the dam seconds hand! .

Just ordered (3) more just incase .

Use rodico to position the hands, not tweezers. And use the flat end of a toothpick to press in the seconds hand.
