Go to Trusty Time without hesitation

While I am new to this forum, I have been purchasing and wearing reps for about 5 years. I don't have the experience many of you have, but I have opened a few up and performed minor repairs.

Anyways I have purchased from 2 other dealers in the past, however always ended up wondering why I strayed away from Trusty Time and Andrew whenever I did. His web site is as thorough and well laid out as I've seen and the selection is tremendous.

Two weeks ago I received a new Submariner 50th from Andrew to replace one I purchased 3-4 years ago and had suffered a fall to a concrete floor:facepalm::facepalm:

The watch received was as described and as shown in the QC pics, however in hand it was not as nice as the first I had purchased in a few details.

Contacted Andrew and today the postman delivers a replacement that lives up to my expectations exactly (In hindsight I should have consulted Andrew prior to ordering and determined which particular one to order out of the 5 or 6 available, that all appear quite similar on the site)...talk about customer service and ensuring I stay his customer. No fretting on his part about the first watch coming back before sending out replacement).

I'm his customer for life!!:thumbsup: (I had previously posted this in "General Discussion" forum, but realized it belonged here. Sorry if I'm repetitive.

Except of cause, if something does go wrong Jandrew are not RWI Dealers so we can't help you. If you use the forum dealers and something goes amiss the sales mods are here to help sort it out on your behalf.

Ordered more than 10 watches from Andrew, great customer service and very fast communication. Though his prices are a bit higher than others.

I've never had a good experience with any watch I've purchased off Andrew or Josh. I'm glad your experience was positive though I'll stick with the trusted dealers here.

Here is a picture of the replacement watch. The original has gone to a watch repair fellow and he is trying to source a date wheel for it. The second picture is one of the "QC" pics from the first watch. I didn't take pics of it prior to sending it away and amazingly enough, Andrew did not insist on pictures before making a decision.

One of the details on the first watch was the date being to small (which is I think the quickest "give away", the cyclops was correct but the fonts on the actual wheel are small.

The replacement watch has a rehaut that appears very "wokey", but in reality is only minutely more angled and hardly different than others. It has nice depth I thjink and that makes it appear a bit strange in the photos.

I agree that the format you have set up on this site is great and eliminates a huge amount of scam sites, while providing an element of "buyer protection" in a realm that is clearly not normally protected. That is why I joined after many years of being a bit involved on my own and what a wealth of info (with an incredibly knowledgeable member community). I have learned more in a week than in 5 years prior!

However, it must be realized that I was referred to Trusty many years back and have always been treated well. So there is no way, especially in light of my latest transaction, that I am considering anyone else (product availability being equal). I have yet to see a more extensive collection as well presented, anywhere. The fact that he is not listed on this web site does not on its own eliminate him or suggest he is not to be trusted.

Just my take... I managed one of Canada's largest auto dealership for many years and we never depended on an outside source or association to provide recommendation; we were our own "Better Business Bureau" and had a huge repeat and referral base.

I'm very happy with the service and selection provided by Andrew. He responds to emails very quickly and is very polite. I just got a Pam 196h and it's extremely nice. I ordered the watch, got QC pics within 2 days and had the watch in my hands within 7 days. I will def do business with him again.
