Hi...I'm looking for a PAM rep with GMT function, and 441, 688, and 531 are my targets because all are well-known as very nice reps.

Are the GMT function of all of these identical?
I checked at TD website, and all models support 12-hr GMT as per gen. Is this correct?
Are there any differences from GMT settings and readings?

The GMT hand on the PAM531 is incorrect. It should be 24 hours (as shown by the 24-hour markers around the edge of the dial). But the PAM688 and the PAM441 are both 24-hour GMTs and function the same as gen.

Thank you. I probably go for 441 then. But that is strange, isn't? Meaning that information from each TD is not correct.

It's funny that you think it's strange. TDs are still human. Not to mention what they put on their site usually comes from the factory, they don't edit or check what they put there.

I wish I'd seen this before - just taken delivery of the PAM531 with the P9003 rep movement from VSF - lovely watch but it does indeed have a 12 hour GMT hand. Its bugging me already!

Is it me or GMT choice is getting thinner?

I'm new to reps (3 months) and just got into the Panerais rep world, so pardon my noobie question here but I asked a few TDs about the mythical H Factory GMTs, such as PAM228 or PAM237, and got a "No Sir No" answer (for ex. Joshua from PClones (not TD here) got pretty clear about the end of this factory), no stocks available anymore.

So it seems its mostly the models mentionned above by OP that are available today, but what about older GMT models? Do other factories still make them?

I've heard the same - I was told the only factory left doing decent ones was XF/VSF but their GMT (the 531) doesn't have correct GMT. H factory were shut down a while ago and the Noob ones seem to be long gone too from memory.

I have a noob 297 that functions exactly the same as my 531 v2. The gmt hand takes 24hrs to rotate. So I'm confused as to why the 531 v2 is not correct?

it seems the V2 531 is set on a 12h rotation, seems to be a beautiful watch but therefore incorrect with gen.

There is also the 320 which I contimplated for a moment or two because I really could use a GMT model. I have no idea how it stacks up next to gen though, although I'm curious.

Looks like it yes, is it the same factory we're talking above? Heard about wrong GMT as well for this model...

Str1xt the hands are supposed to be silver colored. Aren’t they?

Are they or is that just the lighting?

Silver hands by their nature are reflective. The hands are most likely mirroring what's in front of them, like the smartphone that's taking the picture. ;)

My understanding is XF/VSF have replicated the P9003 movement unlike the Noob which I think uses a modded 7750, however in their wisdom they got it wrong and made the GMT hand 12hour. A lesson in how to try and make progress and end up going backwards

That's giving them too much credit. The factory simply got the latest P.9001 superclone movement and replaced the movement identification from P.9001 to P.9003.
