Hello dear ones!

I'm brand new here and honestly pretty happy to have found you. I have a little problem and can't get any further even after hours of searching.

I could not resist the temptation to get a Rolex GMT Master 2 replica in Turkey for 150€. With the so-called "quality class" AAA. If the watch had looked cheap (like the 50€ variants there), I would certainly have despised the watch, but I have to say that it is already quite well processed from the case and band, but apart from the movement!! Because right from the start I noticed that the crown:

1. not so clean to adjust between adjustment date, time and elevator.

2. the screwing of the crown into the thread did not go so well.

After 4 months I wanted to wind up the watch and noticed an unnatural resistance. Nothing worked anymore... Because I open my watches myself, change dials and hands, I removed the clockwork and found that a gear is no longer sitting straight and probably the shaft is broken or slipped out of the stone...

NOW THE PROBLEM:

It would be no problem for me to change the movement, but after hours of searching I can't find the movement installed in my watch anywhere:

I can only go for apparent features such as built-in rotor, color screws, color unset, etc.

ALL works known to me: ETA2836 Clones, Seagull GMT, Hangzhou 6460, Mingzhu 3804 look different.

These works are also priced at about 70-90€, so I'm not sure if they are installed in my watch at all. But could come from the margin because the manufacturer's prices are significantly lower.....

THEREFORE MY QUESTION TO YOUR CONCENTRATED WATCH KNOWLEDGE:

Can I swap the built-in movement with a Seagull GMT or Hangzhou 6460? Or does someone recognize the manufacturer of the installed work?

I would be extremely grateful for your help!

Best wishes, your Roscillo

Attached are some pictures of the watch and the defective gear:

Looks like a low end copy of a DG3804B. It would likely fit the case, movement ring etc, hands may possibly also fit a DG3804B. You may have issues with date alignment and need a date wheel overlay - can be purchased on Raffles Dials website.

DG3804B's can be found on AlieX, ebay etc.
