GMT-Master II 126710 - What factory to buy from?

Hi,

I recently purchased a Daytona white face from PureTime (Clean Factory) & after some lubrication of the rotor to reduce the noise I'm very happy with it.

Next I'd like to buy a GMT-Master II 126710 (oyster bracelet) but have been hanging off as I've read some bad reports about the bezel rotating movement. Can anyone point me towards what is considered the best factory to buy a Batman from? From researching on this site for my Daytona purchase I read that CF was the best for white faced Daytona's and a different factory for the black face.

What is the best movement to look for? I see a new release on the Pure Time website has an Asian Dan Dong Super Clone DD3285 (?) movement while others have a Asian Super Clone 3285 Automatic Movement VR3285.

Thanks for any advice.

Cheers

Shane

Clean Factory is indeed considered the best for the GMT Master II, if you go by general opinion consensus. But generally speaking, you should always base your purchase decision on your own research rather than on someone else's opinion. 😉

Important remark added for other newbies who may stumble across this thread and are potentially confused by its title: Please note that factories don't sell any watches. You have to go through a dealer. Please refer to our list of Trusted Dealers to buy your watch safely and without worries of falling for a scam.

Hey Shane, come on, the gmt master is quite the popular watch, there’s tons of threads on the topic. Try using Google, add “…site:forum.replica-watch.info” to your query and see what you’ll get.
The new dandong movement is something everyone has been waiting for (there’s a couple of threads also on this topic) but as far as I understood clean factory has it in exclusive for the moment, hence also high pricing. On the other hand clean is also known to have the bezel issues you mentioned, although I hear that’s kind of a hit and miss thing.

Thanks eBoy, most of my research is through RWI, it seems to be where the people buying replica watches discuss the pro's & con's of each.

Thanks for your input on the dandong movement, I'm not an extensive user of this site so prefer the "flame free area". I did have a poke around to see what I could find. When I purchased the Daytona it was based off someone on RWI having done a load of research & wrote a (in my mind) brilliant piece about the differences. I was directed to that piece from posting a similar question as I have above. From your reference to Dandong I've now been able to look further into that - which is very helpful :)
