Finally the time has come. I've pulled the trigger on my first rep order.

Movement: DD3285 CHS
Factory: Clean
TD: Andiotwatches

I chose Andiot as my TD for various reasons. The obvious one is that he seems to have the lowest prices. Second and the most important for me: the customs guarantee. If it gets caught up in customs he sends out a new watch or full refund and I've had feedback from people in my country having really good experience.

Eliot responded really fast (2min or so) saying he had some clean in stock. A few hours later after I got home I placed the order and sent the payment confirmation.

Jan 27th - order status processing
ETA for QC: 4-6 days as he has some in stock.

Can't wait for QC and looking forward to get an amazing time piece. All in one a great ordering experience so far. Website is very well made too.

Update:

Feb 2nd - As promised 6 days later I received QC.

Watch looks imo really good. It's my first high quality rep but I've been reading and watching a lot of QC posts... feel free to point out anything that I may have missed. I checked index alignment, dial printing, date wheel, hand alignment, bezel alignment (had an extra eye out for bumps), SEL's, Rehaut and the Lume. Everything looks good to me and I'm going to GL it by the end of the day if i can't catch anything that i cant live with. Timegrapher shows +/- 0 s/d, 265 - 276, 0.1 ms, 28000/52⁰.

Don't get me wrong, not asking to rate the QC I know it's not allowed so Admins pls feel free to edit anything out that isn't welcome just want to share the experience as I'm completely new to this and I might miss something important. So I'd be very grateful for hints of anything I still might have to check but forgot or forgot to mention that I did.

Post Office will be working again after Feb 7th according to Andiots website so I expect about 2 weeks of waiting time until it arrives. I'll see what Elliot says after the GL.

Update Feb 18th - After some delays because of high Volume in CN finally received Tracking number
