Hi Guys,

So, I have a Gen 5 digit Sub (14060M) with the usual sardine tin bracelet. I also have a 6 digit VSF 124060 with the Glidelock bracelet.
Being summer down here in the arse end of the world I find my wrist size changes quite dramatically throughout the day, so much so that I have pretty much stopped wearing the 5 didit. So my obvious thought was to replace the bracelet with something like a Ginault Ocean Rover 2 bracelet. Are there any other options available to achieve this combination? Would probably prefer a clasp with a Rolex logo but not a dealbreaker?

Thanks all and HNY 😎

You can’t fit a SEL bracelet on a 14060. The case is lacking the notch between lugs that make it possible on a 16610.
You can fit a 6 digit clasp on the 93150 bracelet though

@Jackster

I even fit the non logo'd Rolex style 6 digit glide lock clasps on some of my other brand watches.

Sometimes needs the holes in the bracelet easing out, so buy a few teeny drill bits like 0.5mm to 1.5mm sizes ;)

Use the ginault bracelet and don't look back. It's the best option by far. You can change the clasp if desired.

It won’t fit a 14060 (Again)
News to me / what are you basing this on?

Ginault Ocean Rover cases are basically 5-digit cases, and the bracelet/case fit fine and it's been documented multiple times (on RWI, Rolex Forums, Reddit etc.), so not sure what is missing here...if you have a gen-spec 5 digit case, it absolutely will fit

See this example from TimeZone

Hmm, a little confused here, is that because the Ginault will only fit a 16610 and not a 14060.
I like the idea of just swapping out the clasp but as long as I dont have to modify the gen bracelet in any way,,, thanks for the input people.

You're just repeating what you're saying, but the picture I posted would suggest otherwise.

Maybe the end link fit isn't perfect, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't work

Yes but that is a 16610 not a 14060... i think this is the issue??
Yes. 16610 and 14060 cases are different

Circled in red the notch needed to fit a SEL bracelet (and the lack of it on a 14060 case) :
