Giving up on my 005

hello all,

I've had a 005 on rubber for quite a few years, upgraded the rep movement to a Swiss 6497 and a few 24/24 straps as well as the rep Asso

Not sure if I'm just bored with it and tastes have changed or that it's just missing that perfect strap or maybe even a bracelet to bring it back to life for me.

Just wondering if anyone else have had the same feelings before I make a bad move and decide to sell it off

For me, the strap makes the watch.
I don't know if you have one, but maybe you should try some exotic skin before thinking of selling it...

Nothing exotic yet.

The vintage style strap to me don't fit in with it I feel they are too thick. Maybe a nice hornback would do...also thinking a Pam bracelet

Did some searching and saw an AP style hornback cut for 24mm bars rather than the plots. Anybody have one?

You'll regret it if you get rid of it. Try a cheapo NATO canvas. I got mine on amazon for less than $15

Anyone else seen the AP hornback style on a 44mm pam

you mean like this (from your link) ?

it looks like a Bell and Ross strap mounted to a pam, so this maybe makes it more easy to find your strap
