got myself a 237 for xmas and you all know how fantastic it is when you get a new watch and wear it for the first few days...pure ecstasy. it's such a well done rep...too bad there's a shitty chinese movement lurking inside.

i don't usually wind my 7750's, i just swirl em and wear em. this one was stopping on my wrist...wtf? popped the back and sure enough the rotor seemed a little loose with some vertical movement when pressing down on the side of the rotor. when i tried to tighten the rotor screw the damn top of the screw broke right off...horror.

i managed to get the rest of the screw out but now i need a new screw. i'll try to see if i can get an ETA rotor screw locally, anyone know if it will fit?

if not i'm going to need a donor from somewhere. any santas still out there?

I'm not going to be much help except to suggest to everyone who likes to fiddle with these things to keep an eye on eBay for piles of watches that need repair. Good for spare parts if gotten cheap enough. Gotta figure that there's only so many ways to make a small screw- one of them has to work! :)

Good luck

You might be able to buy just a screw from Ofrei or CousinsUK, or try a WTB thread on here!
