GF Avenger GMT 2 on Bracelet Pictures

A lot of us have been waiting for the super rep GF Avenger GMT 2 to appear on a bracelet and mine arrived this morning from Lucy @truetime168 who as usual came up with a great watch for me. I have to say the quality, accuracy and feel of this watch is superb and the bracelet doesn't let it down. @Smpfan please let us know your thoughts as you have the gen. I can confirm that bracelet is well finished with no hard edges, good weighty feel to it and mirror polished - stated to be 316F steel which should give a better mirror finish - it will of course show every mark [emoji16]. Onto the pics.

'manufacture en suisse' missing opposite 'modele depose', but note no mark under the Breitling wings on the clasp lock, normally a tell on rep bracelets

If you're on the fence about getting one of these, just go for it you won't be disappointed

Have you got a pic from the side with the screws, too? Would be interesting. In the past the screws always were a problem. Mostly the shape of the heads was a tell.

Pretty much clenches it for me. I have been on the fence because of the polished bracelet (?over bearing?), but it actually compliments the watch quite well here I must admit.

P.S. I will be getting the blue dial as well since I already have black and white dial B's.

Here's one under the kitchen spots, dial is very good but I haven't compared it to the gen yet. Hands are also very good, very smooth edges even under a loupe, best I've seen for a rep, let me know any specific shots you want and I'll take them in natural light tomorrow

What was the turnaround from Lucy since payment?

Printing is really excellent and has got a nice 3d effect. Dial texture maybe a bit on the glossy side but very nice. Lume, markers and hands are top notch.

Am I the only one who can't bear all this shine, even though I love the watch? I did beadblast my Skyland Avenger, and will do the same with my GMT once I receive it.

Yes it‘s shiny. But don‘t blast it. After that you will lose this fine and detailed look of the watch. There is always the option of the matte blacksteel model. Or you do the same which I did with my gen. I brushed it exactly like the Abenger Seawolf II on the case and bracelet. Now it‘s perfect for me:

I was deciding between the Avenger or the Colt. Looks like the Avenger brushed is a good third option.

I ordered some time ago and waited for the bracelet version which I heard was on the way, so it was longer than usual but that doesn't bother me, I'm more interested in getting the right piece and Lucy is very good at this in my experience.
