getting patina

anyone knows how to get Gen T dial to patina more ?

Sorry, I had to. I have no clue, perhaps the interwebs can help explain why Tritium lume develops this lovely patina. Then, just increase whatever causes it, assuming it's something other than time

How silly of me . Here are some iPhone pics , seems from the picture it seems patina real nice but from seeing it with my eyes it's sort of yellowish still not patina nicely enough .

Tritiums half-life is 12 odd years. With the effects of sun exposure and time, me thinks that's how a t-Swiss-t dial gets creamy. The time part of the equation is kinda a problem but I'd stick it under a UV lamp for a little while to see the effects of a little fake sun. Good luck! Found some gen pics , it captures te actual lume colour of my dial now

But I'm trying to get it more patina and have it look like this

Gonna find out more info about patina , most likely place it under sunlight during noon and see how it turns out .

I don't really knw much..but I think e combi of sunlight&UV does quite abit..but ve heard too much might crack it too..not sure about that tho.. Sorry, bro!

I see he's got "Parts" webpage on his site but no prices nor any info on the fact he is selling nay of these so I feel sort of awkward asking him for info as I wast even aware he is dealing parts. Mind sharing how you got it from him? May be via PM if you feel it is best kept off-line....

No idea what he have in stock , normally I just email him if he got the dials I want and just ask him to include me in mailing list if the certain dial I want pops up for sale .

thanks Dodgy , i did just that and surprisingly ... keeping the dial out of the sun is wat gonna have it patina nicely .... into the drawer it goes
