Getting a battery changed or strap adjusted on a rep?

Good Evening Guys,

I am about to take a jump and order my first Rep. (Rolex Datejust 41mm)

I am curious as if to down the line of how I would need a battery changed or my strap adjusted, i guess this can’t be done on the high street?

I change the batteries in all my Subs, DateJusts and GMT-Masters myself. It’s a bit of a struggle to get the batteries in, but once I found some little round ones (for hearing aids I think) and stopped trying to jam AAA cells in, it got a lot easier.

“Automatic”… pffff! Nothing works without electric.

Although I’ve not been all that impressed with my reps since I changed the batteries. They rattle a lot more and don’t go all the time. That’s what you get for buying cheap Chinese fakes.

You’re buying your reps from the wrong dude. My guy promised to change my batteries anytime I needed them changed. You get that kind of service when you pay almost $100 for a watch.
