My 111F was from the early production a few years back when the high quality Pam's started to come out. I don't know whether you can still get a F series these days.

The casework, dial, CG, etc., I would rate it a step above today's 111H's. But there are also things that required to be fixed up, such as recessed pinion & square bridge Swiss 6497.

One of these days when my bank account replenishs from the everlasting overspending, I would mod this piece with the correct E series Swiss 6497 and the high centre pinion. Maybe a re-lume job as well although the lume is quite decent on this piece.

Nice strap Tutima, perfect fit for one of (now extinct) the best historic PAM reps ever made, IMO.

You're right, the original 111E and 111F reps are step above current H-series reps, case is flawless, thicker crown and CG, A/R is definitely superior to the one they put on xtal today, and dial indices are ivory-white color and not yellow or green.
