I was recently presented with a great opportunity to pick between two GEN 44mm Sub T-Dials. They were both too awesome, so naturally I bought both. I have vowed to not be a gluttonous jerk and to only keep one. Help me pick which to build:

First up... The A series pam024:

Then the A series Pam025:

DSN makes pretty decent versions of each, so I'm leaning towards the Titanium 025a...I love the waffle dial.

But damn, the 024 is badass with the polished bezel!

The 024 is all scratched up. Go with the 025a. It looks much more elegant.

That's kind of my thought, but the scratches are so faint that they won't be viable under the crystal.

Keep both and build 2 watches! That's my vote!

Indeed. I have considered this! But I thought it would be fun to share the joy with another collector.

You better be nice...Fab hosts the So Cal get togethers at his house. :hehehe:

I know! I'm pissed I couldn't make it to the last one. Especially since I just moved to Georgia. I am missing SoCal.

I'll gladly point FJ in the right direction.

Thanks Ale! I agree. I think it is decided! The waffle dial is the way to go! Far more unique! And just generally awesome! Now If I can just find a Gen bezel....that would make an amazing Franken.

25, but not just the condition. Dials with depth win out, and that texture adds depth.

Where do you get these dials!?

These come up on the b a y every other month from v a n n i c, the famous collector.

@ grim: The drawbacks of a DSN based 024/025 build are the crown position height and lug profile. If you can live with that, go for it.

It may be better to source a rep 199, swap the dial, and get a DSN caseback. Problem is, the rep 199 is no longer sold.
