Gen Rolex explorer 2 etched crown!? Pics in post.

Hey guys I got this Explorer from my girlfriend as a gift. She purchased it online from a site that I have bought my gen pams from. I'm not an Rolex expert. I need some help.

Does the new explorers 2 polar have an etched crown still on the crystal? I tried to search online but not really much info on it. Some say Rolex stopped etching the crown on certain models...

Please if you have any insight or information it would be great for my piece of mind. I will be bringing it in to a authorized dealer to have them authenticate it. Just the non etched crown is throwing me off. Sorry for the crappy pics taken on my phone.

One does not check authenticity on a LEC. Especially not on an Explorer. :lol:

Thanks Bud! Not an rolex expert but good to know its a gen! I feel much better! Especially I have done a lot of business with that site with my Pams. I shouldn't have second guess them.

For what it's worth the gen does have the lec on the Crystal. Great looking watch! At least the crystal I just bought does. (It's still in the Rolex packaging so I know it's gen)

I know the gen has the LEC, and some don't that is what is confusing me lol. Maybe depending on the serial numbers some has it some don't?
