Gen quick release leather strap on 2000V

I came upon a rare official 3rd generation quick release strap on Ebay and snapped it up, uncertain if it would fit the 2000V or not. It does fit, almost perfectly, which is a testament to XF's attention to detail on this rep. Some photos!

I belive the 2000V variant of this strap is slimmer at the lug end. This one is more appropriate for a 4500V, but on the wrist this is not really noticable. The Vacheron strap is extremely high quality but also rather stiff. Hopefully it will have some more "give" as I wear it in.

I got the buckle from etsy. Its good quality for the price. I actually bought a second one.

Where did you get your rubber strap? I've been looking. Here is the link to the buckle. He has many sizes.

I bought it directly at VC. I called the concierge service and could order it via phone. It was 300euro. They wanted 2000 or 3000 for the folding clasp though(not sure anymore), which I did not want to pay.

The strap is 24mm tapering down to 20mm so I got the 20mm model which is perfect.
