Msrp definitely, grey market insane.... The 5711 was meant to be a reward for loyal PP customers though so if you could get one at retail you def spent big bucks there, which is the social status part of it I guessI don't know about that. The MSRP from Patek I think is fair. It's obviously a status symbol but Patek has a long rich history. This isn't RM we are talking about.
any pic to see as proof?Plus, misaligned datewheels and misaligned double-markers at 12 are pretty much the standard with Patek.
I think that this 'honour' is due to the Royal Oak.The Nautilius 5711 imho is the most overhyped high horology piece ever.... it's a SS sports watch that is the definition of hype and social status
Only my opinionI think that this 'honour' is due to the Royal Oak.
I mean, AP and PP (and also Vacheron with the Overseas) thanks to their brand name, they succedeed in making a STAINLESS STEEL watch costs more than 20 k euros , or more.
Do you want a list of integrated bracelet watches ?
Piaget Polo and Polo S , Gerard Perragaux Laureato , Baume & Mercier Riviera, Tag Heuer Link, Zenith Defy, Chopard Alpine Eagle, IWC Ingenieur , Bvulgari OCTO, Glashutte Original Seventies , PArmigiani Fleurier Tonda and so many more than does not come in to my mind...
So, comgratulations to them.
G. Genta designed the Omega Constellation , the IWC Ingenieur, the Bulgari - Bulgari ....Patek + Genta. What else? (Ok, AP + Genta)
I own a RO 15300 (Rep), yes the tapisserie dial is really something...Only my opinion
AP and VC just look more appealing to me. The AP bracelet and tapiesserie dial is killer. VC is also very distinct, love the bezel and the rich blue dial. The new 4500V bracelets are also nice with the half links.
The Nautlius has the most mediocre bracelet out of the three.... and by extension the design. i don't know what it is but the variations of the Nautilius looka better, 5980, 5712, etc
Ok, you're right. I own Omega (gens and a rep), an IWC rep but nothing from Bvlgari. Nautilus 3700/3800 are gorgeous, indeed. I wish they would be available as good quality reps.G. Genta designed the Omega Constellation , the IWC Ingenieur, the Bulgari - Bulgari ....

But it's still one of the most overpriced SS watches ever...
As for the Nautilus..., for me it's become like a submariner.... I saw it too many times really.
It's a bit 'meh'.
The original 3800 with this dial is beautiful however
It screams real old money of the 80s....when proper luxury watches were Gold.
That doesn't appear to be the right date font for a Tiffany 5711
this watch is rep but misaligned date and 12 hrs markers are indeed a std for the 5711 ...That's not gen.

I saw several gen nautiluses that i believe wouldn't pass qc here ....
True, the same is valid for a vintage rolex ...Yup. There’s a common adage in gen PP watch groups: “If it looks perfect, it’s fake”.
