Gen pearl bezel mod for 42mm PO

Im thinking of using a gen pearl to mod my 42mm 5th gen po.

My questions are;

Will the wholesaleoutlet insert fit into the 5th gen bezel? (reason being it appears more accurate in number size and font and the pearl location looks better placed)

Does anybody know of a tutorial on how to do this mod, including removal of the bezel from the watch?

The bezel from wholesaleoutlet doesn't look very gen like to me.

wholesaleoutlet insert wiil fit into the 5th gen bezel, and its the best option we have at the moment. Beware though that its a hit and miss situation, you may get one good or one bad...

if you get a good one and install it without moding you will get something like this

if you want to mod it with a gen pearl and sand down the pearl area to look more like gen you will get something like this

I tried on a 4th gen and it was brass underneath. Be careful.

I've Ordered a wso insert. I'll try to find a cheap gen smp insert for the pearl.

Failing that I'll buy a new gen smp insert for my faded gen smp and transplant my gen pearl into my po insert. Any tips on fitting gen pearl into rep insert?

Are you sure the gen pearl is not too small to be transplant in the rep insert?
I have the feeling the hole in the rep insert is too large.

The 42mm 5th gen PO fits the whole bezel with the insert without any moddes..Have you considered that option???If you do this you are really close since IMo the 5th gen dial is really gen like,except the lume...
