So i just bought this Gen Pam 562 in very mint condition
but upon wearing it for a week or so, i noticed that the watch is running a bit too fast
i can't measure how fast exactly as the watch has no second hands, but roughly its about 1-2 minutes per 2 days
is this normal ?
or should i send it for warranty ?
the movement is in house P.5000 8-days movement
(and yes i did try to fully wind the watch every morning)
it's a Q series purchased on the late 2014 according to the warranty card.
the warranty card s from an AD in Swiss,
but i live in Indonesia and the nearest service centre would be Richemont Singapore
do they honour international warranty ?
and i heard lots of bad stuff regarding Richemont service centre in Singapore
do anyone here has any experiences ?
and normally how long do they need to service that kind of problem ?
thank you so much and sorry for the trouble.

i own several Rep with trusty Asian 6497 and most of them has better accuracy if not the same as this Gen P.5000
starting to pissed off about this.

try to find a local watchsmith with a timegrapher to see how are the readings. i.e. beat rate, error.

AFAIK, this issue is common for every gen watch with such P5000 movt, after full winding it runs fast and after 5-6 days it runs slowly, so why overpaid for gen?

is it true this is common for gen ?
i mean i own several pam rep using the all asian 6497 and most of them didnt dissapoint me.
i bought a gen so that i can compare the quality between rep and gen
but this is ridiculous i paid 6000+ for this 562.

My 6497 keeps better time than any of my automatic movement gen watches. It is very common.

The P.5000 has not been out for very long so reliability figures would not be very definitive. @OP, I would suggest bringing it in for warranty. Try contacting the store where you bought it first, from what I know the warranty should be international. They may recommend you send/bring it to Richemont Singapore for assessment. The only problem with the official warranty is that sometimes it takes a while for them to sort out your issue. I don't think it's advisable to buy a gen just to compare with a rep but that's just me.

Yes, it is True for GEN pams, P5000 movt is Not as good as A6497, and this issue is common for most Gen P5000(
