I dont think the 164 is gen - just my opinion but the inner corners of the CG seem rounded and there is a slight halo on the cyclops. Might just be my eyes. So i will guess the 000 and 26 are the gens

Maybe, but the inner shape of CG lever appears to have the same angle... On the other hand crown looks different.
And you could be right about 026, but don't you think it is a bit too dark?

Very very hard to guess, at least for me

It definitely may be dark Kilo - but could always be lighting. Anyways, i am sticking with my guess

For me the decisive flaw is the upper part of the lugs in the insertion with the mid-case

Rep upper part of the lugs are`closer to cushion shape edge. You can see reps are Noob because this distance is very small (See the pics)

Gen distance is clearly bigger and nicely detached and contours well defined

CG Pin is also better and recessed in gens, but that can be easily modified

The identification problem will be hard in the near future with the new cases from Noob (PAM 390) and the new generation of cases form KW-V6Fac and H maker all them way better than Noob V3.
We will need to have the gen near the rep to see some differences maybe in the inner part of the lugs.
New rep cases are better finished and with more defined and sharp edges than the gen PAM cases from ten years ago

Hi Ale Thank you for your Feedback. But the upper part of the lugs from Noob 299 and Gen 164 are 99% Identical
Both are inderical closer to cushion shape edge. (See the pics)

The Font on the Dial and Halo efect are also the Same ! See photos Gen 164 halo efect ! Thats crazy
For me is the noob 299 best out of the box REP Ever.

@EVora: You win my respect ! You are a real Panerai expert ! Pls tell me more about 299 what is the first flaw that you see, if you look at the Picture ?

Lugs inner connexion to the case, not sharp like gen. Since it bothered me on many reps, that's what make me look further...

Add to the described flaws by ALE, there are also other flaws like thick bottom bevel on the bezel. The cyclop, compare it on your pictures, you can see the difference with gen, even with distortion the gen cylcop is more clear. HF ones are far better than Noob. The "S" shape of the light reflect on the bezel is not regular on every point of view... Reps bezel are not as well finished, polished as gen.

Yes PAM 299 is one of the best PAM rep ever
I was impressed when I received my first PAM 299 Noob. I bought it only for collection purposes (i didn't like SS bracelets) but it was a complete week in my wrist.

But there are indeed some differences on the lugs insertion
