I am looking to build a proper 104. I am having a hard time with the search because gen is only 3 letters.
Is there anything like Ofrei in the Panerai world? I am looking for a gen 104 dial. Any help would be great.

Thanks!

Gen 104 dail is about as rare as it gets and expect to pay more than a thousand bucks for it.

Why should you buy a gen dial? The rep dial of this model is very good.

A gen 104 dial? Why?
As mentioned above the rep ones are frigpiggin good and besides you will never find one. 104s are not like subs or arseholes, not everybody has one so the dials don't exactly grow on trees.

The 170 dial is a very different animal. Super hard to replicate that finish. Here is the flipside, that Gen is so rare a $98 rep would fool almost anyone. ;)

Gen Panerai dials are hard to find
They don't sell them

Second hand they appear from time to time on rep forums, the bay and some gen forums
But Panerai does not want them sold so looking for them at stores like Ofrei is a waste of time
The more rare the gen the higher the price and rare a gen dial will be to find

This comes from having a Noob and an H 104N next to each other. The thickness if the font on the Noob just doesn't cut it for me. What about using a dial from an H in a Noob case. Best of both worlds?

Stick with the rep dial, you'll be fine...

You can try to contact Vannic, a Risti member who sometimes sell OEM parts on ebay and on ViaPaneristi

Gen 380 dial?

correct me if im wrong but i think you have better luck finding gen dials of much older models, the newer ones are relatively unheard off unless one of those gen owners decides to part out his gen?
