Gents,

I have a gen dial 731 that I was going to swap dials with a 1024 and using a a datewheel from a 1391....same movement as 1024. But date window on the gen dial doesn't line up with the datewheel. Any solutions to this?

Does anyone think switching to a TTF 1391 base with a 7750 will have the alignment needed for the datewheel?

It may just be that you need the gen datewheel which could be printed in the correct location to fit.

My first thought was to just snip the dial feet but after looking at your picture again, the CP and subdial pin would not allow alignment anyway.... I think you may be SOL on this one.

Changed to the 7750 based 24R as the base movement and using a datewheel from a 228. Hoping this will solve that problem. The p9000 will definitely not work.
