Gen dial price estimation

Definitely not an expert in the prices of gen parts, I think superspark69 or erick510 could say something specific, having experience.
On my own I would only add that if you are satisfied with this state, then it is better to buy (if it does not exceed reasonable money for you) because I'm sure these dials don't come around often.
I would be happy with such a purchase for 300$ maximum, especially since it would not be bad to restore it, which is also not free , but it seems that the real prices may be higher.
Also, pay attention to paint flaking. This is noticeable in the subdial circle. As far as I know, this can progress with high humidity.

BTW, the guy have more dial for sale + a lot of parts (hands, xstal, and even a PAM064 case).

In the 089 situation, I want to add that yes, for me, subjectively, a whole rep dial would be better than a gen in a bad state. The difference in visual effect between gen and rep is largely due to rep AR, which gives it some shades, and prevents it from looking matte gray in most angles, like a titanium satin-finished case.

I wouldn't pay any more than £200 in that condition, but I also wouldn't buy a dial in that condition. What would you use it in and be happy?.

I agree with superspark69 restoring might cost some cash unless you want it for the patina and the story of the dial. All my frankens have made me happy when building
