No, these already come on the vsf submariner. The watch is complete and has one already installed with the crystal

when would I need a gen? Only when switching to gen crystal right? Is it even then necessary?
I am wondering because I ordered a deep crystal for a daytona and now I am wondering if I also need to change the gasket for the deep crystal (Clean daytona)

Can this alone eliminate the white "ring" issue on a stock CF Pepsi V1, or would I also need a gen or at least better-than-stock crystal as well?
