Hi guys,
I've read several times folks unhappy with their CF GMT bezel insert, as they were saying that the numbers on the bezel are too dark. So I decided to do a quick comparison between my Franken 126710 BLNR (CF base, gen xtal, gen datewheel) and my gen 126710 BLRO.
I actually had noticed that the numbers had started to become darker, so prior to taking the pictures, I cleaned it gently with soapy water and a soft toothbrush and below are the results under different levels of light.
In my opinion, and having both in my hands, there is just no difference and they are equally bright. Do note that even side by side it's impossible to have exactly the same amount of light on all the numbers, but hopefully you'll agree that there is no real difference.
If you notice that your insert is getting darker, just clean it as I explained.
Also shows to an extent the colors of the BLRO gen insert.
Hope this helps!
