First off, I need to say a HUGE thank you to PeteM. I mentioned to him a few weeks ago how this was the watch I really wanted but couldn't get as I couldn't find one in my price range. This past weekend he contacted me and told one of his risti contacts had one and was ready to sell at an reasonable price. After some back and forth on my part, I bit the bullet and here she is. Thank you mate!
As for the watch itself, well, what can I say? It's nothing less then stunning. I couldn't wait for a rep and I'm glad I didn't now. I love the feel of the wind on that p3000, and with a 3 day pr I get to do it more then once a week. While it is 47mm, it's so thin it slips under most of my shirt cuffs, which is something none of my other rep Pam's do. I love the faux patina, the polished case, the crown, the dial.....it's design is simple and it's size lets you know it's there......with an 8" wrist, I can dress it up with a nice croc strap and a suit or dress it down with jeans and the OEM strap or an asso strap, etc. So versatile IMO
