GEN 320 vs GEN 233

Hi Friends,

I am in a dilemma and need some serious help. If you only have one choice and this is your first PAM, would you pick 320 or 233 and why? If the current 233 still has a Dot indicator, it would be a clear and obvious choice for me.

Reason for me holding back is because of the missing "9" and "AM/PM" indicator cluttering the dial but I like the dome crystal and also the green lume. 233 also sits lower on the wrist and reviews showed that 233 has more PAM DNA and is iconic. But I am still confused. Please help me out. I like to know which one is more highly sought after, more unique and more beautiful.

This problem is killing me.

Thanks,
surfer

233. I'm saving up for a gen one right now. Think it has everything in a Pam you need.

Way more interesting than the 320 by far. Just looked that model up.

Have you tried on the 233? Have you worn it? It's amazing. I've owned several gen Pam's over the years and I now know the only gen I'd want in the future is the 233.
It's all things. It can be dressy if you'd like, it is historic and iconic, it's got everything.
The hand wound movement makes it super light on the wrist. It wears very well. The profile is just right. The domed glass is beautiful. Sammich dial, GMT, am/pm, small seconds, etc. Display back and over a week of power reserve. I can't find one flaw with that watch. I think if you pick one up used it's a great deal. I see them all the time for around $8500/9k.
That's my take anyway. I don't think you'd ever need another Pam unless you wanted something vintage or a Radiomir.

Thanks, Dinkis. I am considering to get a new 233 because of some known issues with used old model with dot indicator (depends on luck I guess). The new am/pm costs ard a k more. I wouldn't like to risk getting a used one.

Yeah if you can afford it then I'd say pull the trigger. You won't regret it. And if you ever fall out of love with it I'll buy it! [emoji3]
