Thanks for the videos! I think they show well how the distortion is different on the gen as compared to the rep. I believe this is due to a different shape of the rep crystal as compared to the gen, as I posted here:

I am happy with my rep (latest batch) but it is definitely different than gen.

So theres actually slight distortion to Gen crystal. Just check out the number 9 when the watch os being tilted to different angles. But gosh its very nice.
